Winter Fragments is a cute slice of life visual novel with light yuri undertones about a couple of best friends set in 2001. It’s a nostalgic, sentimental story about the joys of creating: particularly when it’s done with a dear friend.
Hijikata Saku, the heroine of our story, loves three things in life: delicious food (especially beef tongue), pretty boys from otome games (especially Touya from First Life), and hanging out with her friends (especially her childhood friend, Shima Chisato). Saku hasn’t seen Chisato in a while, however, since they started attending high school. Chisato is a well-bred young lady from a wealthy family, and she winds up attending the prestigious all-girls’ school, St Cecilia’s, while Saku goes to the distinctly less glamorous Hitotsuba.
